If you thought that Halloween is a time for children to dress in costumes of witches, goblins, ghosts, vampires, devils and satan to knock on doors calling “TRICK OR TREAT”, you better wise up!
Twelve Forbidden Practices
1. Enchantments: The act of influencing by charms and incantations the practice of magical arts. Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
2 Kings 21:6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke [him] to anger.
Enchanter: Sorcerer, magician, one who uses the human voice to bring another person under psychic control. Deuteronomy 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Deuteronomy 18:12 For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Deuteronomy 18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
2. Witchcraft: The practice of dealing with evil spirits, the use of sorcery or magic. Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Galatians 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Galatians 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from [being] king.
3. Sorcery: The use of power gained from the assistance or control of evil spirits, especially for divining. Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
4. Divination: Fortune-telling. Numbers 22:7
5. Wizardry: The art of practiced of a wizard; sorcery. (Wizard - one skilled in magic, a male witch) Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I [am] the LORD your God. Leviticus 20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
6. Necromancy: Communication with the dead; conjuration of the spirits of the dead for purposes of magically revealing the future or influencing the course of events. Deuteronomy 18:11;

7. Charm: To put a spell on someone by the affect of magic. Isaiah 19:3
8. Star Gazing/Astrology: The divination of the supposed influence of the stars upon human affairs and terrestrial events by their positions and aspects. Isaiah 47:12 - 15; Jeremiah 10:2
9. Soothsaying: The act of foretelling events; prophesying by (familiar spirit) a spirit other than the Holy Spirit. Joshua 13:22; Micah 5:12 - 15; Acts 16:16-18
10. Prognostication: To foretell from signs or symptoms; prophesying without the Holy Spirit; soothsaying. Isaiah 47:12; Joshua 13:22
11. Observing Times: Astrology. 11 Kings 21:6 Leviticus 19:31
12. Magic: Witchcraft. Deuteronomy 18:10 - 12
