A Letter To Seniors Part 5
Gwendolyn Hall, Fort Washington, MD
Catagory: Volume 2, Issue 7 and 8
One day I was preparing to go teach Bible study and, very clearly, I heard within my spirit “Sit down and write.” I looked at my watch and I had just enough time to drive to Bible study.
However, I obeyed the LORD. I went to my desk and picked up my pencil and pad. Then I said, “LORD what shall I write?”
At that moment I began to write the following short message for my class that day. The scripture were not given, so I looked them up later. As I share this with you, I pray that this will bless you and encourage you.
Tell them who they are!
They are mine. Malachi 3:17
They are precious. Isaiah 43.4
They are somebody. Colossians 3:12, Ephesians 2:19
They are my jewels. Malachi 3:15
They are lovely people.
Love one another. John 14:34
Live together peaceably. Galatians 5:22
Enjoy every day. Nehemiah 8:10
Be holy and without blame. Ephesians 1:4
Serve the true and living God. Your soul will belong to me and I will receive you unto myself. You are mine and will be mine forever.
Close the door on yesterday, Philippians 3:3-14. Love me with all your heart. Bring every thought into captivity, II Corinthians 10:5. Serve me with a true heart, for I am the LORD your God and I change not, Malachi 3:16.
Sow good seed, for you will surely reap what you sow. SOW THEM MORNING, NOON AND NIGHT. Lay up a good harvest, 2 Corinthians 9:6.
It only took about five minutes to complete the writing and I had plenty of time to get to my class on time. God is speaking to all who will listen.
My friends, knowing who you are in Christ Jesus puts you in a position of authority over every situation in your life.
Study and obey God’s Word daily, pray without ceasing, and seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you, Matthew 6.33.
