Redeeming The Time

There are so many things that have the “churches” attention.  The “church” is looking more and more like the world.  The songs and the messages are the same.  The testimonies have been weakened and the Word compromised.  The weakened “church” is forgetting the purpose of Jesus' death and resurrection.  “Church”, wakeup and allow the people to know who Christ is and why we call ourselves Christians.

If we are Christians, we need to pray with our eyes continually on the Promise.  Jesus is standing at the threshold ready to make His entrance once again.  He is coming to take us home; that could happen at anytime (today or tomorrow).  It will be in the twinkling of an eye.  Do not get caught sleeping; we must be vigilant in all we do.  Remember that tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

As Christians we live by a different standard.  This standard is what shapes us to be who we are in Christ.  We are in this world, but not of it.  We cannot function by the rules created by the world or walk like the world walks.  The tune, in which we walk, cannot be heard with natural ears but with Spiritual ears.

When lawmakers pass laws in favor of those opposing the Word of God; we know that without a doubt these are the Last Days.  As the leaders in the “church” depart from the Faith, so are the leaders in the government (i.e. ex-preachers, ex-deacons and ex-husbands).

Who is going to hold our leaders accountable for their actions?  It's time for the “church” to stand up and be counted.  The breakdown of our society is at hand.  A breach must be built filling in the gaps on behalf of families.  When the family structures become fragile and weak, so will our country.  Under burdensome circumstances, people are easily persuaded to act out their frustrations.  The spirit of fear will influence many to destroy everything that gives them trouble, unfortunately, at this time it's the “church.”

The “church” will come under much scrutiny and experience many different attacks.  It will become a victim of the non-profit status.  While the government loses money, some churches are getting rich.  Caesar cannot afford to allow the “church” to continue as is.  Therefore, the “church” must be changed; get ready to give Caesar what is Caesars.  The easy ride is over; the “church” must allow integrity to rule.  Honesty goes hand-in-hand with Holiness.  The misuse and abuse of money must stop among God's people.

When the “church” looks to God, it will see the Power of God being poured out upon the world.  God is preparing the hearts of the people for what is to come.  The Holy Spirit will convict many to turn toward God, but there will be those who will not heed the call to repentance.  God's Glory will be seen, The Holy Ghost will be experienced and Jesus will be exalted.  As God brings in the souls, He will also bring in the finances.

Now the world will feel threatened and become defensive.  The world will strike out at the first thing in its path.  In these Last Days it will be the “church” that will face persecution after Judgment starts in the household of Faith.  The Mercy of God endures forever, but there is a time when God is grieved.  The “church” has allowed confusion to spew into the world.  The “church” has caused

sinners to laugh and blaspheme God.  The Lord is not pleased with such situations.  The “church” cannot even agree on the basic Scriptures of the Bible.  Where Love should be ruling, they are having turf wars, divorces, and doing all manner of evil.

Judgment starts in the household of Faith.  “Church” examine yourself, for you will suffer because the world is beginning to throw up the stench of the evil one.  The “church” will stand if she allows God to embrace her with His Glory and Power.  The “church” needs all that God has, because the world will be afflicted with many problems.  The Church of God will endure because She is the True Bride of Christ, submitted to doing the Perfect Will of God.

The “church” will walk in the Fullness of Christ, we shall see the Spirit in a greater way.  Do not miss the Day of your Visitation.  Only those who are looking for Jesus shall see Him and find Peace in the time of trouble.  We must recognize the signs around us.  Our spirit man should be mature enough to sense a change.  Time as we know it is winding up, there is a change in the air, however, there are many who don't have a clue as to what is happening in this world.  Unless the “church” is willing to go forth and shake them, they will spend eternity in hell.

As the Church looks for the Coming of Christ, She must be aware of the subtle ways of the enemy.  It's time to self-examined our walk with the Lord.  Do not be like the Pharisees and Scribes who missed their Day of Visitation.  After being confronted with the Knowledge of the Messiah, they allowed status to Resurrection, but they did not believe.  They lost out on the Greatest events in the history of man.  In these Last Days, we do not want to be like tombs that have been whitewashed, which look beautiful on the outside but inside are full of dead men's bones and everything impure.  We want to be able to stand Holy before the people with a clean heart.  While the “church” is busy with programs, God is moving on people in the courtyard, alley, back street, etc.  God will have a people that will serve Him.  "Behold, I (Jesus) stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the

door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he[will eat] with Me" Revelation 3:20 Amplified)

Matthew Chapter 24 is coming to pass.  The Bible is unfolding and being fulfilled.  God said, His Word would not return unto Him void.  The Word will accomplish what He (Jesus) came to do.  Finally, the Groom will come for His Bride.  He is coming to take Her (His Church) unto His Father.  We shall be with Him forever more.  Heaven is getting ready to sound the blast of the trumpet.  We that are looking for the Hope of Glory shall be snatched from this earth to meet Jesus in the air.  We must Redeem the Time, use it wisely.  The Word says, "Walk in Wisdom toward them that are without (non-Christians), redeeming the time.  "Let your speech be always with Grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man" (Colossians 4:5-6).  Our walk (lifestyle), is seen by men, women, and children.  We cannot afford to cause others to stumble and fall.  Do not allow your brethren to lose heart in these Last Days.

Don't be idle; time is precious.  Once you lose time, you cannot get it back.  The “church” does not need more fundraisers and gimmicks to bring souls to Christ.  All the “church” needs is demonstration of the Spirit and Power.  We cannot depend on our talents to fill a church.  We need to get back to what works and that's the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.  Paul said, "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the Power of God unto Salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16).  If we are going to be effective for Christ, we must use what He has provided and use the Word skillfully.

Every day we are witnessing what happens to those who are not led by the Spirit of God.  They walk in confusion and unbelief because they cannot heed to the stirring in their souls.  The “church” must redeem the time, the “church” must remember that God is a Spirit and the “church” must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth and He must be perceived by the spirit. For we know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will return.  There are many souls that

have not heard the Word of God.  We must get in a hurry, for the time is closing.  The clock is ticking faster and faster and the time we once had is not there anymore.  Lives are being cut down in greater numbers.  Afflictions are taking the nations by force and are happening in greater proportion.  There are many that are hungry.  There are children that are longing for a hug and love.

Who will open the door and let Jesus into their heart?  For the Time is at hand, we are all standing at the edge of eternity.  Give your heart to the Lord today.  Tomorrow is not promised to any man.  Forgive and you shall be forgiven.  Let all things be to the Glory of God.  Time is winding down, Heaven’s gates open, outpouring blessings, grace and mercy.  Where sin abounds, grace much more abounds.  Are you redeeming the time?  The fields are white and angels are standing around the earth ready to harvest the  crop

"Miss Mary ", as she is affectionately called, loves the Word of God with all her heart. Jesus Christ is the Lord of her life and He has given her ministry gifts to minister to the body of Christ. Through Praise and Worship she has learned to wait patiently on God. In God's presence she has found joy and peace. Through many hours of prayer, and by the help of The Holy Spirit her faith has grown and she has matured.

As a teacher of the Word, she loves to share the Bible using the gift of Revelation to family and friends. Mary is the founder and author of The Holy Ghost Chronicle, a bimonthly newsletter. Also she is a writer of the "Epistles of Christ" magazine, and she is an Anointed Evangelist for Christ.

Mary faithfully, looks unto the Lord (Jesus Christ) for her help. By God's Grace, her life has been redeemed and her body healed many times over. Obedience and continued repentance (from the heart) is the key to wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
