Our Banner

The older generation didn’t explain God’s meaning of our flag. In pain and desperation the children burned the flag. Although her stars and stripes were burned and tattered, Old Glory still waves on high. God so loved our nation. God would not let our nation die.
The values Betsy Ross sewed into each star and stripe. God blessed a nation and made it great. God had a purpose for our lives.
Because of hypocrisy with deception our nation has greatly changed. We rarely hear, “In God We Trust”, we have forgotten the covenant God made with us.
We gasp in horror at the Holocaust. We commemorate the victims’ names, yet we exterminate a generation. Each time we abort a child, we add another name.
The deeds we do, the choices we make, we proudly advocate and demonstrate, we ring out our freedom bell. We have sadly forgotten God’s wrath and anger, and why Sodom and Gomorrah fell.
God had given such astronomical technology, unlimited power so great, we have forgotten, “In God We Trust”. Do you suppose we feel greater than the Creator who has created us?
Sometimes I sit and wonder, if Old Glory could take a stand, would she in shame and desperation fly half-mast over our land?
