Early in life, Gwendolyn realized that God had blessed her with a special talent of craft making. However, she was inspired to write, poetry and plays later in life. While in flight, at 35,000 feet, in route to San Antonio, Texas, Gwen wrote her first article on "Healing".
The Prayer, Praise and Fellowship Club under the leadership of Pastor John C. Drew, printed and distributed her writings. A few months before her retirement in 1987, Gwen's husband went home to be with the Lord. This event inspired Gwen to write a booklet, entitled, Through Sickness and Death of A Spouse Or Love One. |
