Psalm 51:1-19 (KJV)
1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. 18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I (we) come to You now in the Name of my (our) Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, I (we) make a joyful shout to You, we come before Your Presence with singing, and we enter into Your gates with thanksgiving, and into Your courts with praise.
Lord through out this prayer and through out this day I pray for myself(ourselves) and the following people _____, _____, _____, and _____ . Heavenly Father have mercy on me/us, our children and grandchildren, our friends and family and the people we have prayed for and according to Your loving kindness, and according to the multitude of Your tender mercies blot out all our transgressions, and wash us totally from our iniquities and cleanse us from our sins. For we do acknowledge our transgressions and our sin is always before us, and against You and You only have we sinned and have done this evil in Your sight. That You may be found just when You speak and blameless when You judge. Behold we were brought forth in iniquity and in sin our mother conceived us, and behold You desire truth in the inward parts, in the hidden parts You will make us to know wisdom. Purge us with hyssop, we shall be clean, wash us and we shall be whiter than snow. Make us to know Your joy and gladness that the bones that You have broken may rejoice and hide Your face from our sins, and blot out our iniquities. Create in us a clean heart O’God and renew a steadfast spirit within us and do not cast us away from Your Presence. Please do not take Your Holy Spirit from us but restore to us the joy of Your salvation and uphold us by Your generous Spirit that we would be able to teach transgressors Your ways and sinners can be converted to You. Deliver us from the bed of affliction O’God, the God of our salvation and our tongue shall sing aloud of Your Righteousness. O’Lord open our lips and our mouths shall show forth Your praise. For You did not desire sacrifice or else we would give it, and You do not delight in burnt offerings, the sacrifices of God are a humble spirit, a broken and contrite heart. These O’God You will not despise, do good in Your good pleasure to Zion. Build thou the walls of Jerusalem. We thank You. Then Lord You will be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings. Then shall they offer bullocks upon Your Alter. I (we) humble myself (ourselves) in complete repentance before You. I/we ask you to forgive me (or us) for any unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, envy, murder, deceit, hatred, whisperers, backbiters, despitefulness, pride, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, being without understanding, covenant breaker(s), without natural affection, homosexuality, unmerciful, injustices, whoredoms, bitterness, evil, evil reasoning, murmuring, doing evil, with no covenant, no love and no peace, argumentive and causing strife.
Oh Lord, I/We ask You to forgive each of us of our sins, transgressions, iniquities, trespasses, unforgiveness, approving the sins of others, and I/we ask You to cover those sins with the blood of Jesus Christ. Father I/we repent for our sins. Lord Jesus, I/we ask You not to turn us over to a reprobate mind. I/we know that those who commit, practice and approve of those sins without repentance are worthy of death according to Romans 1:32. Please forgive us Lord, Amen.
