It was with pleasure and expectation when I first met Prophet David Carter. During telephone conversation, we planned to meet in the Los Angeles area for a prayer breakfast. We had prayer as often as time would permit, and although Prophet Carter's stay wasn't long, the impact of those meetings is still very present in the lives of the people he touched.
One meeting in particular lingers with me. It concerned my grandson who is a new Christian and who is not very familiar with the working of the Holy Spirit. He was slain in the Spirit and when he was able to speak he asked if we could see the angels. He said they were all around us. He then began to prophesy to me, telling me not to worry about the business venture I was about to go into, because everything was going to be all right.
When I see the Holy Spirit manifested in such great power, I thank God for dedicated anointed men such as Prophet David Carter.

A letter to Prophet Carter, his followers and the readers of the Epistles of Christ Magazine:
During the month of July, I had the pleasure of hosting a prayer meeting led by Prophet Carter. He blessed the house and everyone in it. The house was filled with excitement, in regards to the group looking forward to being filled again with the Holy Spirit's presence.
Prophet Carter blessed me by sharing the visions which the Lord blessed him regarding my life. The Lord spoke through David to me in a way that clearly got my attention. Many of the revelations regarding me had already happened. David’s prophesying shared messages that I needed to know in a special manner.
When Prophet Carter shared and prayed with me, I knew that God wanted me to listen very carefully and reenact some of the occurrences David had seen in his visions. The anointing that came through David was very powerful. The entire group was of one accord in prayer. Without a doubt, I know that God was in our midst that day.
I encourage anyone who has been in Prophet Carter's presence to adhere. I believe in my heart that you will be blessed. Please continue to pray for the Carter family, that the ministry gifts from God will continue to dwell in their hearts.

To Prophet Carter and Family,
I was truly blessed when Prophet Carter came to California. It was beautiful to see a man truly sold out to God. At first, I felt inferior to the level of faith Prophet Carter had, but after a while, God showed me that even though we have different levels of faith, He loves us all the same.
God has given to each of us a purpose for being on this earth. All we have to do is submit to His Will for our lives. He's the only One who can turn things around for our good. He provides for all our needs. No matter what, He will always be there for us through the good and bad times.
I was truly amazed when David said I had the gift of healing in my hands. I felt I wanted to cry. However, the tears would have been tears of joy and happiness. God gave me a gift of healing. Then He said through my daughter, “I love you and I know I can trust you to use this gift”. I asked Him to teach me to use this gift.
Listening to Prophet Carter opened my heart to receive what God has for me. God knows our every need and He sent David to special deliver a prophecy for each of us. God let us know that He loves us and He knows where we are in our lives. God is very concerned and He lets us know that He will work things out on our behalf. We are to hold on to the promises He has made to each of us and they shall come to pass. As God is changing each of us and changing our lives, we are to welcome the change. Who else could know what's best for us except God Himself, our Creator?
Prophetess Marguerite, I thank you for letting David come and minister to us and I hope some day to meet you and the children. May God bless you all.

To the Readers of The Epistles of Christ Magazine.
On July 3, 1999, we had a prayer meeting led by Prophet David Carter. Everyone was looking forward to and expecting a great movement of the Holy Spirit. We had all prepared with fasting and prayer seven days prior to Prophet Carter's coming to minister to us.
As we began with worship and song, David began to minister in the gift of prophecy to the needs of those he called up. Everyone was sensitive to God's presence in the room. Personally, I was touched by the way that David ministered to the heart through the Word of God. Prophet Carter prayed for me, and the Spirit of Holy Laughter came upon me, and upon many of them in the room. It was contagious, and the room was filled with laughter and joy!
As I stood in front of David, the anointing on him almost made me fall down. The Spirit of God spoke to me and said, “Don't fight it. You're going down”. At first I wanted to cry because of God's goodness, but instead, I began to laugh in the Holy Spirit and I haven't been the same since.
It's men like David Carter for whom we need to continue to pray and lift up so that God's blessing will be continuously poured out upon them. Amen.

To Prophet David Carter and Prophetess Marguerite Carter
Dear Friends:
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. (Isaiah 10:27)
Beginning with your letter of April 25, 1999, I was overwhelmed then. Later, I was blessed by your announcement, “We have your five books”. I saw the impact twice of YOUR anointing upon my husband, Henry Koger. I read your letter with a prophetic message from Jesus about the trip to South Africa. Today, I saw the great work of a Deliverer for one of our typesetters. Each time you have graced my home with blessings from on high. Your children are delightful and well behaved. We have enjoyed all of you.
As I review your Mission Statement, I see something that we have in common toward our elderly. Upon the anointing of the Holy Ghost, Jesus is exalted. These matters and more than the above considerations are uppermost in my mind; So, why can't I write you a check? It is long overdue, but visible, at last. !!!
