Call To Worship

Prophetess Dr Mary Lang Marshall, Temple Hills, MD

Catagory: Volume 2, Issue 11 and 12

Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to-day, Exodus 14:13.

God desires to show Himself to His people.  God is in Heaven on Earth.  His handiwork is seen throughout the ages and through people.  When the Spirit of God and the spirit of man come together, the Power of God is manifested.

Worship is essential to Christianity.  A Christian cannot live an abundant life without worshipping God.  True Worship manifests the anointing of God through the working of the Holy Spirit.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit, and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth, John 4:23-24.

In our walk with the Lord, we are Called To Worship.  We must follow after the things of the Spirit.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God, Romans 8:14.

We are made whole through our submission to the Spirit of God.  We who call on the name of Jesus and bare witness to His death and resurrection are Called To Worship.

Salvation and Worship are inseparable.  Worship brings us into the presence of God.  As a result we are able to fellowship with one another and Glorify God.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin, 1 John 1:7.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's, 1 Corinthians 6:20.

Through Worship, self is denied and the Lord is exalted.  It is impossible to worship God without making a conscious decision to do so.  With a clear conscience, we truly worship God.

When we worship out of a clean and pure heart, God accepts our worship as a sweet smelling savor.  The Eternal Fire of God is stirred within us through Worship.  That fire burns without consuming, crucifies the flesh, and makes us sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

True Worship tears down the walls of depression and oppression.  It uproots bitterness and unforgiveness in our hearts.  However, worship becomes easier when we walk in the Righteousness of Christ and allow the anointing of God to overshadow us.

Worship from a pure heart is directed to God. The Holy Ghost empowers us to surrender to the Lord, who, in turn, brings us to a place of total freedom, peace, joy, and rest!

In worship the angels await the Command of the Creator and attend to the worshipper.  When the worshipper bows in adoration and humbleness before the Creator,  his spirit is renewed and refreshed.

As we sacrifice ourselves through fasting and prayer, the Holy Ghost will fill us with the Anointing Power of God.  This Power manifests the Fruits of the Spirit, revealing God's Goodness to the world.

And blessed be his glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen, Psalm 72:19.

As we bow before the Heavenly Father, we must acknowledge His Presence, and His Word, allowing the implementation of God's Plan.

WE ARE CALLED TO WORSHIP!

"Miss Mary ", as she is affectionately called, loves the Word of God with all her heart. Jesus Christ is the Lord of her life and He has given her ministry gifts to minister to the body of Christ. Through Praise and Worship she has learned to wait patiently on God. In God's presence she has found joy and peace. Through many hours of prayer, and by the help of The Holy Spirit her faith has grown and she has matured.

As a teacher of the Word, she loves to share the Bible using the gift of Revelation to family and friends. Mary is the founder and author of The Holy Ghost Chronicle, a bimonthly newsletter. Also she is a writer of the "Epistles of Christ" magazine, and she is an Anointed Evangelist for Christ.

Mary faithfully, looks unto the Lord (Jesus Christ) for her help. By God's Grace, her life has been redeemed and her body healed many times over. Obedience and continued repentance (from the heart) is the key to wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
