Angel Who Watches Over Me

I know that the hours that I sleep at night or even in the day, Angels watch me to guard my way. I know that in the mornings, when I wake and prepare for the day, Angels watch me and begin to pray. I know that Angels who watch me are near, so that my fear is subsided and my tears are held from what I do not know.

 

I know that I'm not alone when I drive my car, an Angel is watching and always on time. I know there are Angels when I'm working, holding back the demons, who want to hurt me. I know he fights hard and rarely will sweat; it's his job to keep me from danger and unrest.

 

There is an Angel who watches closely, never closing his eyes to sleep, never taking a break he helps keep me alive all the time.

 

I know there is an Angel who watches me and is very close whether he is within a short distance, he is just all around. And because of this, I don't worry. Because the Angel is here right now.

Book Summary

Shonita Stevenson grew up in Southern California, where she has been writing poetry for decades. She has performed spoken word in local libraries, churches and special venues. She is also currently working as an information security officer for local government in Information Systems.

Today, Shonita often ministers God’s word consistently in various churches;
throughout Southern California and occasionally in various parts of the United States. She ministers with a newness of insight and a powerful
fervent word that meet the needs of young men and women today. She also
actively works in helps ministry for women conferences, single ministries
and other events. She attends church in Los Alamitos, California.

She enjoys socials in church ministry; long Walks, prayer time, music,
running, tennis and other outdoors. She also loves spending time with
family, friends and her Jack Russell ‘sky’.

Favorite holiday: Christmas
Favorite scriptures: Jeremiah 29:11 and Book of Isaiah 55
